Today I would like to talk about Sherlock Holmes or at least the varying types of shows and movies about it. Sherlock Holmes has always been one of my favorite books of all time. It has a wonderful mix of suspense and mystery. With a wonderfully dreadfully sarcastic no nonsense detective and his long time companion. The original book written by Sir Author Conan Doyle is an instant classic. The dynamic between his imperfect detective and lovable companion is one for the history books. Many people have tried to capture the essence of the stories and of that partnership in movies and shows. I have only seen a few come close. Let me start with BBC's miniseries Sherlock.
