Hello everyone to challenge post number 4,I think. I have to apologize for yesterday's post. I was really out of it when I posted and I didnt even bother to read it over, which is quite unlike me. I would like to delete it and pretend yesterday didnt happen, but its proof that I am trying to keep up with the challenge and post everyday so its going to stay.
Today I would like to talk about a letter that I received two days ago. It was almost nine pm when my cousin came over and dropped over two letters that came for me that day. I was in a good mood because I was singing the Blue's Clues letter songs (I sang two of them, not sure how much there were)and dancing with the letters in my hand. I was probably just happy that I had gotten two letters that were not any kind of bill.
So one of the letters I recognised as being from my friend from Beligum. I was waiting for it for a while now, so I was really glad that it had finally reached me. The other I didnt recognise at all...
So I begin to open the letter and I glimpse a face and I pause for a minute because my cousin is still a few feet away from me and my brother is standing quite close as well. So I'm wondering if it was safe to open it out in the open, but I think "Oh what the hell," and I open it anyway.
TO my surprise its a postcard from Jo Weil one of the stars in the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love) that I watch. In this writing club that I was in, we had to find a picture of something that inspired us and write about it. The picture that I used was a picture of him and one of his other co-stars looking at each other and their was so much intensity and passion in their gaze, that it inspired me. So I wrote a poem for it.
One of the other members suggested that I send it to the stars and let them know why I wrote it etc. So I nervously did, though it felt awkward as hell to do.
Honestly I didnt expect to get anything back from it, but I was so happy when I got the post card.
So my word of advice today is: Sometimes it pays to step out of your comfort zone and do something that's out of the ordinary. Once that something is positive for you, you never know what good can come out of it.
this is the front of the post card its a head shot of Jo himself and he signed it.
the back.....
I am not sure if he himself signed it but I am glad they or he went out of their way to send it to me. I didnt even pay for it or anything.
Now send me a comment on anything you want, ask me a question I'll reply. Ciao and stuff! laterz for now!!!
OH and P.S. I got the card Laminated. =)
